Project Location: The Bridge No. HUT-012-0005 is located on Ravenna Road over Tinkers Creek approximately 300 feet south of the intersection with Middleton Road in the City of Hudson.


Description of Work: This project involves reconstruction of the Ravenna Road Bridge No. HUT-012-0005 over Tinkers Creek with similar alignment and profile with reconstruction of the approach roadway. The project also includes application of new pavement markings, new approach guardrail and traffic control devices. Temporary pavement will be required for maintenance of traffic.

Maintenance of Traffic: Bi-directional traffic will be maintained during reconstruction of the Ravenna Road bridge utilizing temporary pavement during phased construction.

Status: Programming Package including LPA Project Scope, LPA Participation Requirements Review Form, Project Location Map, BM-191 and BR-86 forwarded to ODOT on June 30, 2008.  Field Review Meeting conducted on December 31, 2008.  Summit County Engineer Request for Technical Proposal transmitted to five short listed design consultants on July 14, 2009 and were received on August 12, 2009.  The Technical Proposal consultant evaluations were completed on August 31, 2009 with QBS consultant notification on November 25, 2009.  Technical Approach & Fee Proposal negotiations complete on June 23, 2010.   Preparation and execution of the Professional Design Services Agreement ongoing.
